The famed mini- MPV from Nissan has received some updates. As the Note did not have any replacement for the new model year, the engineers have polished up the Note for 2012 with a new trim level and select styling and some upgraded features.

The Note was launched in the past March 2006 in Europe. The note also has been sold out for more than a hundred thousand units in the UK market. Since its unveiling, the Note has reached a total production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in UK at 427,985 units.

Let’s begin with the Acenta model. This version changed its old 15 inchers with new diamond cut two tone 16 inch alloy wheels completed with chrome- effect door mirror covers and front fog light surrounds.

Then what’s new inside the Acenta? Well, there are distinctive seat fabrics with blue stitching. Moreover the Acenta is now coming with automatic headlights and rain- sensitive wipers as standard features.

The next grade level is the new N- TEC+ which was built based on the Acenta. The differences is that the N- TEC+ sports some extras, including rear parking sensors, tinted rear windows and a touch-screen ‘Connect’ satellite navigation system with built in CD/radio, iPod gateway, Aux-in, USB connection and Bluetooth phone connection.

The engineers still retain the previous engine line- up to be employed on the 2012 model year. The engines are the 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter petrol units and the 1.5-liter dCi diesel. The last one figures a combined fuel economy of 67.3 mpg UK, equal to 56 mpg US, while the CO2 emission is returned at 110 g/km.

The company has already set a price tag at £11,200 for the Visia, £13,000 for the Acenta and £13,500 for the new N-TEC+. For you who are in the United Kingdom, you can be happy since this Note will arrive on Nissan showrooms soon, in the beginning of February.
